Depute Nightshift Manager

The Depute Nightshift Manager will support the Nightshift Manager and deputise as required, providing management support, guidance and direction to nightshift staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people residing within Stepdown.

The Depute Nightshift Manager will have a hands-on role, acting as a senior practitioner and positive role model to staff, ensuring that young people are safe, healthy, active, nurtured, achieving, respected, responsible and included, in line with GIRFEC principles.

Under the direction of the Nightshift Manager, the Depute Nightshift Manager will ensure that care and support provided during nightshift hours is consistent with legislative, regulatory, organisational and procedural requirements, and reflects current good practice standards and guidance.

The Depute Nightshift Manager will provide supervision, direction and support to nightshift staff, ensuring the effective implementation of agreed Care Plans and objectives to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
