A Career That Reflects Scotland’s Communities Chief Inspector of Recruitment Alan Mulholland emphasizes the significance of this career, stating,

“This is just one of many recruitment events being held across the country throughout the year, both in-person and online, as we continue to focus on inclusivity across all aspects of the communities we represent, while enabling representation from under-represented groups through our work on equality with our Positive Action Team.

This really is ‘a job like no other’. Becoming a police officer in Scotland carries significant importance for both the individual and society, while we strive to employ the very best people in that all important and regulated Office of Constable.

Our officers not only help ensure public safety and protection but are proactively involved in community engagement, nurturing a society that fosters better trust and confidence.

As a new recruit, you will be locally placed to better understand concerns and priorities. You will be instrumental in upholding our rights-based values of fairness, integrity and respect.”
